Summary
Discovery workshops were conducted to uncover insights into the personas of Banzai. These insights were then translated into content and wireframes that would later inform the final website. Additionally, art direction and editing of a photoshoot were undertaken to capture the main activities of Banzai events. Collaboration with developers ensued to review and finalise a website that enables customers to make contact and book entertainment.
My role
During the UX design process for Banzai Events, my responsibilities encompassed various aspects crucial to the project's success:
Participation in UX Workshops: I actively participated in UX workshops aimed at uncovering the diverse audiences and user needs associated with the different personas of Banzai Events. These workshops provided valuable insights that informed our design decisions.
Collaboration with Simon: Working closely with Simon, I utilised the content derived from these insights to develop wireframes, information architecture, and final high-fidelity designs. This collaboration ensured that the designs effectively addressed the identified user needs and preferences.
Art Direction for Photography: I directed the photography efforts to ensure that the images captured the essence of Banzai's main events. By strategically guiding the photography process, we were able to create visual assets that resonated with the target audience and effectively showcased the offerings of Banzai Events.
Prototype Creation: I created prototypes to visualise the proposed design solutions and facilitate stakeholder review. These prototypes allowed us to gather feedback early in the design process, iterate on designs, and ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.
Delivery of Final Assets: Lastly, I supplied final screens and image assets required for the delivery of the website during the development phase. By providing comprehensive assets, I ensured smooth collaboration between design and development teams, leading to the successful implementation of the design vision.
In summary, my role encompassed active participation in UX workshops, collaboration with team members, direction of photography efforts, prototype creation, and delivery of final assets, all of which contributed to the successful execution of the UX design for Banzai Events' website.
